Gibson SJ-200 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar Formerly owned and played extensively by Dave Dudley (1952)
This is a very special guitar owned by Dave Dudley himself, the king of truck-driving music. He has been photographed with this guitar numerous times.

Gibson Advanced Jumbo Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1937)
THE holy grail of vintage Gibson guitars. Enough said.

Dyer Symphony Style 5 Harp Guitar, made by Larson Brothers , c. 1910
This is an excellent harp guitar made by the Larson brothers. Sounds and plays great even if you don't feel like using the harp strings!

Ask and you shall receive!

SOLDC. F. Martin 00-18H Conversion Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1937)
This beautiful pre-war sunburst 00-18 started out life as a Hawaiian guitar and was converted to a spanish style guitar. Neck is not chunky and is very playable.

C. F. Martin D-18 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1937)
On everyone's list of the all time great guitars, the pre-WWII Martin D-18 Dreadnought ranks among the highest.

C. F. Martin D-18 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1947)
A superb just postwar D-18, this would make an exceptional recording or gigging instrument for just about any style player.

SOLDC. F. Martin 00-18 Acoustic Guitar (1964)
The ideal fingerstyle guitar. Beautiful warm tone with perfect action and intonation; one of my personal favorites.

C. F. Martin 0-18 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1967)
A lovely clean guitar overall; this charming small-body Martin has barely been played. The pickguard has been neatly replaced and the original is in the case. Also comes with the original green-lined hard shell case. $3000

C. F. Martin 00-18 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar Owned by Bill Kirchen (1963)
This very nice early-'60's 00-18 has been owned and played for many years by "The Titan of the Telecaster", Bill Kirchen.

SOLDKalamazoo KG-21 Arch Top Acoustic Guitar (1937)
An exceptionally nice example of this model; as good sounding and playing Kalamazoo small-body archtop as we hav ever has, complete with a modern HSC.

C. F. Martin 0-18 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1955)
This is a great sounding and playing 1950's 0-18; the top has been refinished (or possibly oversprayed) some time ago, and the back, sides and the back of the neck oversprayed. $2750

SOLDPrairie State Model 427 Auditorium Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, made by Larson Brothers , c. 1932
This is as close to getting a new guitar direct from Carl and August as we can imagine, and comes ready-to-play in the original heavy chipboard case. Excellent + Condition. $9500

Gibson Hummingbird Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1966)
A good player with a seriously chubky, midrange sound-one of the better mid-60's 'birds we have heard. Overall Excellent Condition. $4500

Gibson SJ Southerner Jumbo Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1942)
This fascinating and rather extraordinary guitar is documented as a member of the very first production batch of this seminal Gibson flattop, the Southern(er) Jumbo or SJ. With a host of unusual features, it is also a nearly unique specimen of Gibson's flat-top creations. $27,500

Wilkanowski Arch Top Acoustic Guitar (1937)
This is one of the most interesting and unusual American guitars ever created, and a true (if eccentric) classic of the arch-top era. Willi Wilkanowski was a well-known successful Brooklyn violin builder who beginning around 1937 began crafting a very limited number of unique and striking guitars. $18,000

SOLD1940 Kalamazoo Oriole KGN-12
The early 1940's Kalamazoo Oriole series was intended as a more deluxe version of Gibson's signature budget instruments, and to that end were built of somewhat flashier standard than the "standard" Kalamazoo instruments. This is a very nice player and one of the nicest sounding of these we have had. Includes a recent HSC. Excellent - Condition. $2400

1939 Gibson HG-00 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar
Originally intended for lap-style Hawaiian play, the fairly rare HG-00 makes a dandy Spanish-style guitar and an interesting variation on the normal 1930's "L" flat top specs. This is a 12-fret guitar with slightly heavier bracing than the 14-fret standard L-00…and we do mean slightly, compared to most other guitars it is still a featherweight instrument. $5800

R. L. Mattingly Classical Guitar (1986)
This is a very fine hand-made classical built by the late Bob Mattingly, who crafted his instruments individually in Long Beach California in the '70's and '80's. An extremely high-grade concert guitar, this instrument carries Mattingly's signature and wax seal and in addition to the handwritten serial number is marked 1986-4 indicating the fourth instrument completed that year.
$5200

C. F. Martin 0-18 Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1957)
This is a sweet old small body Martin with a nicely dry, woody tone and more depth than many. Some general wear overall, most notably a spot of pickwear in front of the pickguard. Nice slightly darkened patina with light checking overall, original uncut bridge and Grover openback tuners. No cracks or major repairs except one small grain split in the bottom edge of the pickguard. $3800

Gibson SJ Southern Jumbo Flat Top Acoustic Guitar Presented to Captain Roland Smoot of the U.S.S. Newport News, c. 1948
Fairly well-played, no major alterations except a Martin bridge installed sometime back. Wear, dings and checking overall. One long back crack off the center seam, a few small top cracks by the pickguard and bass side waist. Tuners nicely restored to original, original bridgeplate, excellent sound and playability. A cool old SJ with an unusual history behind it! Overall Very Good + Condition. $6,250.00

Way outta my price range, but that is an OUTSTANDING piece of history. Would love to hear a recording of it if you ever get the chance.
