Danny, I certainly wouldn't be brave enough to do that. You really have to listen to them and think about what you want, for example, portability against pure sound.
For me it is enough to say that the AER is a very good personal amp.

Having played a Schertler and owned a GB Compak10, I can say that I personally prefer the sound of the AER 60/3. The Schertlers are very good amps though and have a little more flexibility in the mixer section. IMHO, the AER 60/3 is outstanding against any of its competition. The one thing though about the Schertler and JAM amps is that you can get more power at a more affordable price.
The GB Compak10 really does not compare to either amp in my experience. I sold mine pretty quickly after I purchased it. Now, any of those will get you what you need in a smaller venue. It is just that with my gears (Taylors with K&K/Sunrise and K&K/M80 dual systems, the AER works best FOR ME. No criticism intended for Schertler/JAM or GB. As to the ACUS, can't help you there... davidc |
