Interesting that no one has mentioned The Walking Dead or it's spin-off.
I am still Netflixing them but it is getting harder to stay interested.

In case you’re into aliens and conspiracies, add The X Files on your list. It was filmed in the 90s so the visuals are often dated especially the first two seasons but the theories were well ahead of its time most of which are still relevant today.

No AGF love for Jack Bauer?

Hey Sage, as you know I'm a huge fan of the X-Files. Probably my favorite tv show ever. Since I watched the original run I've never actually binge watched it.

Big fan of 24. That show I did binge watch.

Hi Dru. I got into The X Files more than a decade after its original run and was amazed at how relevant their theories were. First show I ever binged.

24 is highly unrealistic but oh so entertaining. Jack Bauer is the baddest of ‘em all. The city of Los Angeles tried to name a street after Jack Bauer but it didn’t work...because no one crosses Jack Bauer and live.

I loved "The Newsroom" when it first came out, but I attempted to watch it again a couple weeks ago and it just hurts too much now.

I'm really enjoying "The Deuce".

I'm not a fan of paying more than the $100+ a month I have to shell out for cable so I'm going to be a curmudgeon and wait until Star Trek Discovery is on DVD. I saw the pilot and I won't pay one red cent for it - but I'm a starving Trekkie.

I'll see your curmudgeon and raise you one: I'm going to wait until that DVD makes it to the public library and I can borrow it for free. 😃

Can't redo the X files, never got into any of the zombie shows,
Bloodline ended very strange, now binging " Sons of Anarchy" awaiting Sneaky Pete and Man in the High Tower to come back on...

I'm looking forward to Star Trek Discovery myself. I haven't seen an episode yet. Hoping that it hits Netflix sometime in the future.

Yes, this was true for me too. I'm okay with stuff like True Blood, because vampires aren't real (right? ) But I hate anything with murderers that could actually exist in the real world. I'll never intentionally watch a movie like that and if I see one accidentally, like I did "Girl with a Dragon Tattoo," I find it hard to forget in a very unpleasant way.

That said, I found the character Dexter and his story to be oddly compelling, and I felt sympathetic toward him. That is in no small part because of the brilliance and sensitivity of the actor, Michael C. Hall. I stopped watching it in the Lithgow season though.
