Question Squire Jazzmaster toggle switch problems.

The 3-way toggle on my Squire Jazzmaster is giving me problems.
When I try to switch it to the bridge pickup , the pickup is dead (or extremely muted). If I center it or move it to the neck pickup I get sound and volume.
If I wiggle the switch around a bit while trying the bridge pickup, I can sometimes get the bridge pickup working.
Any idea what the problem may be?
I've looked at simply replacing the toggle but don't know how much work that would involve and if the switch is even the problem.
Suggestions appreciated.

Dirty contacts in the switch. They can be cleaned.
