Default How much to shave off the saddle bottom when installing a Baggs Element?

I am measuring 33 mils with my calipers but I imagine it might compress a bit under string pressure. I am thinking I should take the saddle down 1/32". Does this sound about right? I am putting a Mi-Si Trio into a new RainSong H-DR1100N2. The factor setup is right where I want it. Thanks!

Might put the calipers on the pickup out near the edge and snug the caliper down with your finger tips until it stops. Chances are it won't compress much more than that measurement, assuming it has a wrap. Good luck

That brings me to 32 mils. I've got several spare RainSong spec Tusc saddles and I'll take one of them to duplicate the factory saddle minus 1/32".

I always just snug them up with calipers and use that measurement. Works just fine that way.
