For this video, we ran a D-18 with a K&K pure mini into the preamp, then ran the DI output directly to Protools. We also took the BiX line out and ran that to a QSC k10, which was then miked, just to give a picture of how the preamp sounds through a PA system. The 2 signals were mixed together at about 50/50, and we added a wee touch of verb. All the guitar you hear is direct from the pickup - there was mic on the guitar itself.
