Default NGD-Reverend Double Agent OG

Just received in this absolutely beautiful Reverend DA OG in the blue burst finish. It was a special run for Riff City Guitars, so not very many in this finish out there. Bought it used from a guy who treated it very well. Got a great deal for sure!

It's got a 25 1/2 in scale, medium jumbo frets and a 12" radius fretboard, so it definitely is a different feel from my Squier CV 60 strat that I noodle around on. It is very light, having a korina body and is extremely comfortable to play. I was looking for a versatile guitar and this fits that bill to a t, with a PAF humbucker in the bridge and a P90 in the neck position. Goes from sparkling cleans to crunch easily. It is very well built and if you haven't, I highly recommend that you check out Reverend in your guitar shopping comings and goings.

Added some better pics-

Very nice. I like the dark blue burst.

A friend has a couple of Reverends and they're both nice. Congrats!

That's a sweet Reverend! I've seen quite a few of that brand, but only one other in that pickup configuration.... GREAT score!

EVERY Reverend guitar I have played has impressed me a lot! Still built on the old Fender/Gibson platforms to a large degree, all the changes they made to the originals are well thought out and useful...

Have you messed around with that "bass contour roll-off" knob much? Produces nice tone variations on all the different pickup sounds and combinations...

Reverend electric guitars make me wish I was playing in a band again! As it is, I rarely play any of my three electric guitars... maybe I'll sell all of 'em and get just one Reverend? I'd probably go for the Buckshot...

Congratulations on your new guitar! Enjoy...

Hey Matt, Congrats! That is sharp! I don't think there are any Reverends around here but I'll keep my eye open. Enjoy.

I've messed around with the roll off a bit, sounds really good. I'm also breaking in a new amp (Blues Cube Hot) and a Boss ME-80 pedal so a lot going on at once. I had my eye on the buckshots as well, but I've got a tele, so the twangy bridge pickup was covered. I love the Reverend. Cool guitar

Nice! That's definitely the model & pickup configuration that I'd love to get, and that color makes it even better. Enjoy.

I've had a chance to really put this guitar through its paces-at least in an at home environment. I've been working on some lessons and have spent a lot of time playing along to tracks using my THR10C and it sounds great. Also have a little Bugera G5 head and a Roland Blues Cube Hot and have had some intermittent opportunities to crank them up when my wife has gone out. The Double Agent is a rock solid guitar and the pickups sound phenomenal. Love this thing and I'm going to go and play some scales now...

Heard lotsa good things about Reverend - had my eye on a Dub King bass for a while now...

Use it well, often - and LOUD (when your better half isn't in the house)...

I enjoy how Reverend does all sorts of unusual pickup configs.

That's gorgeous! We were so impressed with Reverend Guitars at the NAMM show a few years ago, we signed up with them and never looked back. They're a wonderful instrument in the $700-$1000 category and the Double Agent is one of my favorites. Nice find!!

I have a half dozen electrics but these OG's are the bomb.

Bottom line is that Reverend is incredible for the money.
They have a medium .850" neck width, nice wide string spacing, rounded fret board and fret ends, Smooth satin gun oil finish on the back, locking tuners, tusq nuts, large heavy frets, and decent bridges. . . . . Pretty light korina bodies, as well. The bass contour knob is musical.

My $3K electrics ( 4 PRS's, Tom Anderson, Tuttle, Ric.... are all fine instruments but these Reverends are super for the money. I would get one of these if I found one in that finish!

My friend Coachman got his and I joined him in a Reverend search and we were both rewarded. Mike got an OG. I got a Flatroc although I wish I got your model the OG. I could use a juicy P90 for the neck.

I agree with all the praise for Reverend guitars. As Tippy5 indicated, I recently picked up a stellar used Reverend Double Agent OG, with the Antique Flame/Violin Brown finish (I think that finish has been replaced with the current Vintage Clear Maple finish). It is a gorgeous looking guitar, with playability and tone to match! I was surprised at how functional the bass countour knob was. A very well designed and thought out guitar.

Reverend's are great guitars at unbeatable prices.

Reverend has a guitar for everyone. No doubt they are doing something right. If I didn't have acoustic gas, it would be reverend gas.
