Interesting to see technical exercises being endorsed. Every now and then, a debate pops up on the forum on the merits of technical/finger exercises. I vacillate between doing them and not doing them . . . maybe when I have more time down the road, when the babies are older.
JonPR really nailed it with the "wearing a glove" description! And getting mad at yourself at the moment is futile! I'll try the metronome trick. I'm really, really starting to realize the best thing to do to get better in music playing is to just do it. If I want to get better at jamming, jam more. If I want to improve at performing, perform more.
