Default My friend owns an Emperador... now, what is it?!

Does anybody know anything about the guitar?

It's a jumbo Emperador guitar. The pickguard has flowers on it, much like a J200.
I played it and I thought it sounded pretty decent. His father bought it a long time ago.

Japanese made by Kasuga starting in the mid-60's. Distributed by a Chicago based firm that owned the name. Mostly copies of Gibson electrics and acoustics.

Pretty much I'd say.

They were known for being cheapos even back when they were made. I think you don't see many around because they all fell apart.
