Custom flamenco/classical builders?
Inspired by the Bellucci thread an being a relative n00b to acoustics, I am curious to the builders that are out there.
I am hoping to order a fanned fret 7 string from Edward V. Dick, but I should probably do my homework before putting the money down.

E.V. Dick sounds like quite an interesting guy from this article:

A friend of mine used to own an EVD bass back in the day. I inquired about his extended range classical guitars and he put me in touch with a guy who owns a few EVD classical guitars, I think a 9 string and something else.
I initially asked him if he could build me a 7 string archtop since that was the bigger itch to scratch. He told me he doesn't really do them any more, but to check out a former apprentice, Greg German. So I did hope to pay off a 7 string in the next month or so. I've become a big fan of the 7 string, a lot of that is simply because I've been playing bass for so long and the low B string has long been a part of my vocabulary.

His name is John Walker but goes by Johnny since there is a steel string maker named John Walker,, His guitars a very reasonable for a Luthier built guitar under 3k and sound as good an any i have heard under 8K Rick

I have owned 2 flamencos, one Blanca and one Negro, made by Johnny Walker of Bartlesville, OK. Johnny is a very interesting guy, deeply multi talented... skilled flamenco player and luthier, ace engineer and chemist, and just an all around nice guy. He doesn't do much to promote himself, and yet his instruments produce true world class flamenco tone. Give him a call... your search will stop right there.http://www.johnnywalkerguitars.com/

Alan Carruth makes nylon string guitars and steel strings. I don't know if he's done a 7 string nylon or not, but he has done steel string baritones and steel string harp guitars. I

I've made both extra-string Classicals (up to 21 strings!), and guitars with fanned frets, but never a Classical with fanned frets before.
You should also check out my former apprentice, Aaron Green, who specializes in Classical and Flamenco guitars.
