Digital recorder with large display??
Got a H2 Handy Recorder from Zoom. Wonderful device for recording my acoustic guitar but the display and buttons are way too small for my eyes. Anyone know of one in about $200-$400 price range with a large display? Doesn't have to be a tiny portable. Thanks

The Zoom H4n has a much larger display. I've been considering moving up from my H2 solely because of its small display. Just another symptom of being "chronologically gifted."

I'll be receiving an H4N later this afternoon when UPS shows up. I bought it from a place in Georgia as a package deal on their ebay site.

I had myself recorded Wednesday night at a local Sam Ash with the same unit and was sufficiently impressed. For $6 more than Sam Ash's $299 + tax price (they did not have any package deals) I got the above package including shipping. A no brainer for making quick 'idea' tracks to burn or send finished songs for copyrights, etc. And it's got a display I can actually read. HE http://www.howardemerson.com/ |

The H4N is awesome.
That being said, if I had the H2 I'd stick with it. |

iPAD
I wonder if the iPhone apps the record will work with the iPAD. That's a nice display?
