Default Robert de Visée: Passacaille in E minor

Yesterday I was playing through the works by Robert De Visée since I'm playing his B minor suite in upcoming concerts.
I was having so much fun with this Passacaille I decided to record it right away!
Here's music from the court of Louis XIV.

me too. you can hear the dance rhythm in your playing. i think it needs that strict sense of time.

but you also bring a nice delicate feel to it as well.

are your fingerings from de visee or your own?

what is the little guitar you are playing? i like it.

Thank you mc1!

Fingerings are my own since the baroque guitar's tuning is a bit different, but the rasqueados are de Visée's.
Since I don't have baroque guitar at my disposal I used here the copy of Fabricatore from the early 19th century made by Gioachino Giussani.
I find it's sound more appropriate for this music than the modern instrument.
