Hey Bluesguy… I enjoyed that! If you're "trying to learn," you're doing great. It's nicely done… post some more.
If I can make a suggestion, I'd give a little more thought to dynamics. You've got the fingering. I think of Delta blues having a lot of personality or sassiness. It usually has a monotonic, thumping bass… kinda like bass with an attitude. You can mute the bass with the bottom of your hand or snap a string by pulling up from underneath it. Even adding a little fret buzz never hurts the blues much. I think it sounds good… keep it up! |
