Default Echizen guitars?

Has anyone played an Echizen guitar or know anything about them?

Hi Muse-ic,
I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time with Ryohei Echizen as we were both learning from Sergei de Jonge at the same time. He is a very meticulous craftsman and the guitars I've played of his (I've tried a couple) have been quite impressive! His French polishing skills are also some of the best I've seen. Aside from all that he is a really nice guy.
Are you considering one of his instruments?

I was listening to various guitars on the Dreamguitars site and there are two of his for sale there, and they sounded very nice but I'd never heard of him before. Wanted to find out more about him and his guitars....

I have played Ryohei Echizen's guitars twice at two different shows and they exhibited some of the highest quality craftsmanship. And the sound - especially the one I played at Memphis last year - was exceptional. I hope I get to play his guitars again.

Ryohei, as has been said above, is one of the finest craftspeople around! His guitars are as perfect as guitars can be.
