Default Hey Luthiers... what else do you make?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I've long loved these build threads and I'm constantly wowed by creations from the amazing luthiers who share their work around here. There's so much to learn in these threads... I kinda caught the bug and have been spending time trying to hone my woodworking fundamentals as of late.

This all got me wondering, what else do you superlative craftsmen make when not working on guitars?? Any awesome pieces of furniture or lovely carvings you'd care to show off? Just curious.

Thanks to all here for sharing your work and techniques, it's invaluable for someone like me who's trying to absorb all I can!

Hack builder for now, hope you don't mind my two cents. Yard and addition done a number of years ago. Replaced the windows with solid pane longer ones.

Converted an old tabletop radio into a guitar amp.

More traditional styled amps. Here is a 2W 5E3 Fender Deluxe, great for home use. It left the house and never made it back. Made a few higher wattage ones also.

John, you are truly a CF artist. I've long admired your work showcased over on BROL and didn't realize you built guitars too.

I don't have much spare time outside the wood shop but I do make small piles of lead boolits on occasion, but that is another subject that is waaay off topic here

Great idea for a thread. John, those bikes are sweet. And runamok, that furniture is beautiful.

I don't have good pictures of all the other things I build. It ranges from houses and furniture to canoes and light fixtures. Here are a couple of pieces of furniture.

My turned wooden vessels have been displayed in several galleries and juried shows.

Mostly just other kinds of instruments these days. Aside from flat top, archtop and Classical guitars I make violins and fiddles, mountain and hammered dulcimers, harps, hurdy-gurdies, lutes, and a range of 'hybrids', such as harp guitars, archtop Classicals, and so on. My only other hobbies are reading and beekeeping at present, although I've fooled around some with electronics in the past, and always mean to do more. Oh yeah; I spend 'way too much time on 'science fair experiments', like the ones on string height and break angle, and 'ports'.
