Looks yummy. I have to say though, I'm not crazy about the pickguard - at least not on this body. A bit too Gibsonesque for what looks like a Martin inspired design. Maybe with a nice burst to tie it together . . .

Pay no attention to me. It's my birthday so I'm speaking my mind, feeble though it may be.

I don't think you're wrong. Martin bridge and a Gibson pickguard ...it feels like it's pulling in two separate directions.

I am a Martin fan but I find there pick guards boring. Since this was a once in a lifetime for me I went with what was pleasing to me.

It's your guitar so go for it! This is what makes custom guitars so special.

I like he pickguard. It's different, it says "custom" without be over-the-top about it. The guitar looks really nice!

Beautiful. I especially like the bottle of Jameson in the background of the drill picture. Hoping that was for after the drilling process though.
