Default Trying to identify this kay ?

Year? Model? all original?
value? any help!!

thanks so much !!

i can't seem to post my pics either

i think i have a kay 1940's imperial but the pickup volume and tone are none i have seen before and can't find it anywhere, i wondering if this is not original

i will post a pic when i can figure out how

The inlays look like those used on their Professional series. There are a few websites that have vintage Kay catalogs but I couldn't find any from the 40's. A few years ago, I bought a Kay archtop and by checking out the catalogs from the 60's, I was able to determine that I had a Kay Mercury that appeared in their catalogs from '62 - '65.

Googling, I couldn't find any catalogs earlier than 1953, although there is one site (a pay site that I got a bunch of catalogs from a few years ago) that goes back to 1951.

As luck would have it, I looked on Ebay and I found a pic of a '49 or '50 that looks just like yours:
