Cargo MSRP
It looks like the demand for the Cargo has made the MSRP prices go up a little.
The following is from The CA website. US Retail Price List (effective January 1, 2008) Cargo Retail Price XS-C $xxx XS-CE $xxxx I guess it was good that I jumped on mine when it was $xxx MSRP Last edited by cotten; 07-03-2008 at 03:12 PM. Reason: AGF Rule 2 in FAQ: No guitar price discussion. |

I could be wrong, but I think that's always what the CA website said the MSRP is. Of course, retailers offer for less and that's what your cost seems to reflect. BTW, I stating pricing is against forum rules -- I wouldn't be surprised if a mod removes the $. You may want to edit it yourself. JFYI.

Your xxx is the MAP, not the MSRP. I don't think the Cargo sugg. retail went up.

I apologize to the moderators for putting the price of the guitar in this thread. I have read the rules and the way I read rule #2, it was not broken. I put the price that CA reccommends not what dealers sell it for and you can't buy the guitar directly from CA. The MAP or the MSRP is the same for all the dealers. What they sell the guitar for is up to them. If you noticed, I did not put the price that I paid or where I bought my Cargo from. If I broke the rule then the rule should be clarified to say "guitar prices not allowed under any circumstances" and take the example of why no prices are allowed out of the rule.
