FS: Martin 00-21 Kingston Trio - Reduced Price
I’ve decided to sell my 00-21 Kingston Trio because I have other small-bodied guitars I play regularly and the 00-21KT just sits. I purchased this guitar a couple of years ago. It’s number 30 of 100 made. Based on the serial number, it was made in 2007. It’s in really nice condition for a 10 year old guitar that’s changed hands a few times. It has very little play wear; the frets and the fretboard show no signs of wear. The finish overall is very clean. The top has some marks from handling over the years. There are 5 small shallow marks scattered on the top that don’t go through the lacquer. You have to tilt the top at an angle to light to see them. There is also an area about 3/8” in diameter where a drop-fill repair was done to a shallow ding on the top. The area won’t show up in a picture and the area is perfectly smooth to the touch, but you can notice it when light is at an angle. I’ve included pictures of the area with an arrow pointing to it. If you weren’t looking for it, you probably wouldn’t notice it. However, I want a potential buyer to be aware that the is guitar is not in “like new” condition. It’s in very fine used condition.
The guitar is stock with the following exception: the bridge has been slotted and it’s now wearing unslotted Antique Acoustic bridge pins that are correct for a 21 style guitar. If you’re not overly concerned with minor cosmetic blemishes in a 10 year old guitar, then this guitar might be of interest to you. You don’t see them for sale very often. Martin has made some really great small bodied guitars over the years, and this model ranks up there with the better ones. I’m offering the guitar with the original TKL case (which is in excellent condition) for $2,700 or best offer plus shipping (continental US only). If paying via Paypal, the buyer will need to pay the 3% fee unless you use the “family and friends” option. I’ll also accept postal money orders or personal checks, but checks must clear before I’ll ship the guitar. I’m not interested in trades. Just curious: Is this guitar still for sale? The thread just sorta ends, unless I'm missing something. Thanks.

No - it sold quite a while ago. I listed it in multiple places and it sold elsewhere. I forgot to indicate so in my listing here. Apologies for my oversight.
