Logical me says not much but I would like a terz guitar.

Irrational me says:
Pretty much every instrument offered by National Resophonic
Nearly every guitar offered by ARK New Era Guitars
Vintage Martin small guitar such as 0-42 or 00-17

What I really need is a better room in which to enjoy my guitars.

A classic Martin dread...but not for long (soon to be in transit ). Who would have (re)imagined!

I don't need anything, but I want a 12 fret dread, possibly something like a Smeck. I'd also like one of the new Eastman MDA315 mandolas.

Actually, I'm actively trying to avoid a "collection," and only keeping instruments I actually have a use for. So there's a few things that will be leaving...

Really happy with my collection now . But if you insist a Martin RM Ralph McTell or a Yamaha A5 would be a great addition but not necessary

A Telecaster, a Gretsch 6120 (I like the Eddie Cochran sig model), an ES-335 and a Twin Reverb in better shape than the one I sold 10 years ago.

I noticed that when this thread was started in 2016, I mentioned the addition of an all mahogany OM. Here we are a year and a half later and I have decided to add a spruce/mahogany mid-sized guitar. I have always been a fan of rosewood but realized recently that my voice sounds really good with the warmth and fundamental tone that mahogany can impart. (Yes, depending on the maker.) So, for me, that should take care of the missing piece.

Best,
Jayne

A classical guitar. If it was good enough for Jerry Reed and Willie Nelson....

Love my LG2, my prized possession. Me, I've been eying an El Trovedor resonator. Ha, have Mike Dowling playing in background. Also just played a great Gibson 125, never thought about archtop before, but man this was nice. Its a s acoustic as an electric can get. I already learned a Kenny Burrell song in anticipation!
