Long long ago, in a past life, I used to catch him regularly on the blues ckt. in Chicago. He was in the rotation with the likes of Little Charlie, Pinetop, Charlie Musslewhite and so many other greats. The real deal for sure. Gone too early. His version of That Will Never Do was/is killer. RIP.

Plugged in my Epi 355 and jammed along to 'Snakebite' at the weekend and really annoyed the neighbours! For boogie blues doesn't get any better.
