Default NK Forster guitars - Model C-SS...bearclaw spruce anyone?

It's that time of year - when I seem to spend a lot of time stringing things up.

This week, there is this beauty - a Model C-SS. The Model C is my biggest guitar (420mm wide) whilst the SS refers to the "Standard" soundboard design, based on Sobell arching.

The soundboard is one of the bearclaw German spruce tops I got my hands on in 2008.

That makes me want to say wildly inappropriate things. It's quite lovely.

That's just lovely, Nigel. And a superb finish!
