2012 Bourgeois Vintage D with Adirondack top and extra-cost option Hide Glue construction.
No marks, scratches or blemishes anywhere and barely detectable fret wear first three frets. It's not new out of the box so it's not Mint but I call it Near-MINT Excellent condition. Beautiful woods: Clear Adirondack without prominent reddish grain streaking and with fine cross silking; Straight-grained Indian Rosewood. K&K bridgeplate pickup professionally installed sounds clear and clean. The Bourgeois neck is slick to play. Low action saddle is installed. A second taller Bourgeois saddle is included so you could swap it in for dig-deep bluegrass picking. The Adirondack top has amazing tone and headroom -- can't overdrive it! These are FANTASTIC instruments for people who need maximum volume & projection. In my opinion they are geared to Bluegrass players, but I'm sure there are singer songwriters who use it. I have a 2015 and have not figured out if it fits into my approach.

I love my bourgeois!!! I will say I’m not a huge fan of the 2 5/16 bridge string spacing. It’s mandatory for their 1 3/4 nut guitars. But Bourgeois guitars sound sooooo good!!!!
