Led Kaapana NorCal Mini-Tour
It's hard to stay upbeat even for a Led tour with the smell of smoke in the air and horrifying stats on every news program. But for folks in the SF Bay Area looking for some sweet music to calm jangled nerves Led's show has to be one of the best options available.
I'll be opening and we usually have a little duet jam session (kanikapila) to close. Our first show is in Redwood City at Club Fox http://www.clubfoxrwc.com/ on Thursday, Oct. 19. Doors open at 7 PM, show starts at 7:30. Saturday, Oct. 21, we’ll be in Pacifica at the Mildred Owens Concert Hall http://pacificaperformances.org/ at 7:30 PM. We’ll be in Martinez at Armando’s http://armandosmartinez.com/ on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Doors open at 7:30 PM, show starts at 8. On Thursday, Oct. 26, we’ll play at the Throckmorton Theatre https://throckmortontheatre.org/ in Mill Valley with the show starting at 8 PM. We’ll wind up at the Melon Ball http://watermelonmusic.com/ in Davis on Friday, Oct. 27. Show starts at 8 PM. Oh, and as a side note for the gadget heads among us, I'll be using my new ToneDexter at these shows. GASophiles might be interested in seeing and hearing my Wingert E and/or Led's road dog Martin 000-16SP. Of special interest to `ukulele nuts is Led's truly amazing Moore Bettah koa koa koa (as in "this koa is tooo much!") tenor. At a show last spring we had fans lined up to fondle this little beauty.
