Sorry to have missed the show. I'd planned on attending, but ...

As some here know, life intervened for me. Travels back and forth across the country to conduct interviews for my US/Mexico borderlands project, a 100+ mile/day bicycle ride from Boston to DC, where I presented my refugee children and epigenetics project. Home by overnight train on Wednesday. Worked into the night Wednseday-Friday, including NPR and other interviews, and, well, come Saturday, I was fried.

Next year!

Thanks, all, for sharing the pics and memories.

That was a stunning display of the backs....the Petros Bubinga with the wavy Cedar Top you had in there 3 times....I think it deserved that!!!! However, the price was a little out of my range hahaha. The blue stained maple was mesmerizing....

More batches coming up as I can get around to them. Got some vids too. Hope they came out well. One of these years I need to ask for a donation guitar smile. Maybe one of the luthiers has that one around the shop they never get rid of and we can trade for pics or a new website smile.

That is Claire Lynch playing a 000 12 fret guitar made by St. Louis luthier Joe Mendel. I believe the top of that guitar is adirondack and the back, sides, fretboard, and bridge are persimmon. I've played that guitar on a number of occasions and it is wonderful-my favorite guitar that Joe has built to date.

That blue maple might take the cake for backs. Hard to beat fine Maple in the swimsuit competition... but what a competition!!!

Thanks so much for the wonderful pics! My goodness what a candy store!!!

Cheers

Paul
