What a beautiful color, Congrats! What are the dual toggle switches for? I'm assuming one is to split the coils?

That is drop-dead gorgeous.

If they've done the wiring right, each of those switches is a tri-sound for each pickup. Series/Parallel/Coil Tap. That's the way they did them back in the day...

I've loved those guitars for the last 35 years; back in the '80s a buddy of mine had an original that was an absolute monster - wasn't a tone he couldn't get with those Tri-Sound switches (BTW David's right about the functions)...

Use it often and well...

Wow, love that headstock! I believe that Ibanez's are too good of a deal to pass up sometimes, because of that I ended up with 4 of them haha, I've been wanting one of these double cutaway for sometime, might have to let a couple go to get one though. Enjoy it, I'm sure it plays as good as it looks.

Beautiful! The headstock juxtaposed the tailpiece really makes a statement.

Not at all. Pics are always a good thing. Beautiful Ibby you've got there. I've also got an 83 Artist that I've had since it was new and has always been my #1 so I was a little nervous about how they would compare but I have to say that I'm not disappointed at all.

Great guitars I've been lusting after a AS153 for ages, I know I'm going to get one for sure.

OHHH. I was just "lusting" over an Artist Series last night. Very nice! What is the neck like on these? I'm sure it is more Gibson than Fender, but tell me more please.
