Default New Pick Idea?

I love all things "titanium." I've got a set of titanium bridge pins that make my Martin sound great. Anyway, this is the first pick I've seen made of this material. I like the cutout design which facilitates easy gripping. I just ordered one for $15 shipped. Thought I pass this new product along. I noticed I couldn't order it using Firefox, but it worked with IE.

Beautiful looking! I hope you enjoy this stunner.

I have to admit, though, that every single metal pick I've tried has sounded horrible in every respect. It's too bad, because I love the idea of metal picks, but soundwise, I might as well use a quarter for flatpicking.

Based on other metal picks, I wouldn't be too hopeful.

I know, the best metal pick sound I've heard was out of a quarter I've made. Hardly use it. I may use the titanium pick in a necklace.

Here the quarter pick I made.

Brian May from Queen has always used a sixpence coin for a pick. Seems to work for him. Don't think I could pull that off though. Good luck! Hope it works for ya.

Billy Gibbons uses a peso...I use a Clayton because I'm not as international.

The players mentioned that use a metal pick use it on an electric guitar. It would sound totally different on an acoustic.

I'm in the camp of never hearing a metal, stone, or wood pick that I like as well as any Fender Medium.

V-Picks or PickBoy MetaCarbonate 1.0 picks (hard to find) both sound miles ahead of Fender Mediums, to me.

I have all of the above as a collection, not something I use. The last two mentioned are my go-to picks for acoustic.
