Default Toubles with garageband an ZED-10fx

I'm trying to make some acoustic recordings. I hoked the USB from the ZED-10FX into my mac mini per the Allen and Heath instructions.

I''d like to hear the click track in my headphones plugged in to the ZED-10FX as I record.
I simply can't figure this out. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm very unfamiliar with GB and recording into it.

Thank you.

When you say click track, do you mean the metronome?

Is the Zed set as both input and output devices in GarageBand's Settings? I don't have a USB mixer but use an interface which is set for both input and output in the Settings, and the metronome is present (in my monitoring headphones) when recording. In fact, the only settings available for the metronome in GB is the measures of count-in (1 or 2) and the volume and tone.

Thanks for the advice. I'm talking about the click so I can hear as I record.

I have the USB set for input and output but I still seem to struggle. Are there any tutorials? Thank you

Hmm. If you look through the manual you'll see that the USB *in* goes to ST-2, so if you've got that knob turned all the way down, you won't hear the USB return. Also, the same FM says that if you've plugged anything into the external ST-2 1/4" jacks, that will effectively override whatever is coming back on the USB input side.
