My Anniversary here on AGF

This is post number 1500 for me.
I joined December 2011, so just a few weeks shy of 6 years.

I have a couple observations I'd like to share, and invite your comments.

Lets start with gratitude.
Thank you.
First of all to the Moderatators, both past and present, who have kept/keep a watchful eye on things.
Any unruly activities get dealt with promptly, allowing this to be a pretty safe sandbox to play in.
That is no small thing in our current world.
I am grateful.
And I can hear the applause and affirmations from the rest of you from here.

And thanks to you, the members, again both past and present, who have patiently helped me with my questions,
and graciously listened to my views and opinions.
And to those I've bought/sold/traded with...some of whom I converse with regularly as friends.
I've not had one transaction that was contentious or adversarial.

Yes, I've been annoyed a few times, have taken sabbaticals of months a few times.
I've shaken my head laughing right out loud and wondering how and where some of the crazycoolfun humorous comments come from...some of you are hilarious!!

Yes, this thread could have waited til Thanksgiving next week, but I wanted to make my milestone post one of gratitude today.

Thanks to you all for making this my favorite place to hang out.

You have posted on an online forum of total strangers over a THOUSAND times? What a colossal waste of time! That is, unless you're enjoying it, if you're helping someone or learning yourself, you're posting here instead of getting into trouble elsewhere, or any number of other reasons people enjoy hanging out here. In that case, Congratulations on passing this mile marker. Thanks for being an active part of what makes this place such a nice community!
