Hey, find or play a blues turnaround and post it
I found this one, it sounds cool and is easy to play:
Your turn.

Great thread, TB! Some of the early ones I learned were similar to the first of Stanron's. You can take the E7 in the third fret… D7 shape moved up two frets. I'll walk it down like Stanron did to the E chord and then just play around with that shape by picking up one finger at a time and walking that shape down. I guess my favorite of those is with the index picked up… I'm not very good at diagramming, but I think this is right. These were some of the easiest turnarounds I ever learned in the key of E.

fundamental turnarounds in C and G for Piedmont style
Please excuse in advance the terrible appearance of the tab - obviously I never write these out,
but they are so basic, I've been using them for decades - if you don't already know them, they are indispensable for Piedmont style blues. Stretch the window out wider, so the line endings do not wrap the screen. There are many, many variations on these. For example, with C you can double stop the B and D strings with pinkie and ring while sliding from 3/5 to begin, then track downward with the index on the high E, from 3 to 2 to 1 with the same shape, and play those strings in different sequences. Same with G, the strings can be played in many different sequences with the same fingerings.
