Default I played one of these today: DOUBLE TROUBLE

Check it out;

http://www.ovationacousticguitars.co...tic-guitar.htm

A double neck Ovation guitar. Okay, its outrageous, but so am I.

Here is what I did with it. Start a vamp on the 12 string, then let it ring, then jumped to the 6 string and set up a lead pattern. Hit harmonics on 12 string, then played a lead on the 6. Then started chording on the 6 and then for the chorus, hit the 12.

Seriously more fun that a barrel of monkees. Amazing what you can do with a double neck acoustic. Talk about multi tasking.

Its on sale for 600, sells for 1200 retail. For busking, its an attention getter.

Try one if you can. Really fun.

More like this. The possibilities are endless. Very trippy stuff.

Steve Vai bores me as much as Yngwie Malmsteen

This thread has nothing to do with Steve Vai. Please lets not hijack it and turn into "I don't like Steve" ...thx.

Check out some of Rhett Butler's performances, instead of double necks, he plays two guitars at once.

I have two Doubleneck acoustics love playing both necks in a song. Not talented enough to play both necks at the same time but alternate to emphasis chorus etc. Lot of fun and adds interest to a 6 all the time song. It is a attention getter on stage. Always answering questions afterward. Good way to make new friends.

Dang! I can barely play ONE guitar decently, let alone two or three simultaneously!
