Thanks for that!

It's very nice to hear James Taylor and Vince Gill singing together. Fortunately, neither of them have blown out their voices in spite of their age. JT will be 70 soon. Vince Gill is 10 years younger, but his music uses so much of his upper range, it's great that he can still pull that stuff off.

Very enjoyable.

Just superb! Had the pleasure of seeing Vince in concert here about a year ago and believe me he still can bring the house done with that voice. And what a player, both acoustic and electric! He’s a fellow Okie and his mom and sister were at the concert, too...so maybe he was particularly on his game that night. All I know is it was a long, magical evening my wife and I will never forget.

That sounds like a wonderful concert! I would love to see and hear Vince Gill live!

I have had the pleasure of hearing James Taylor live at Tanglewood a few years ago, and it's an experience I will always remember.

Thanks for sharing! If were to be given an opportunity to meet and hangout with anyone in Nashville it would be Vince Gill.

Been a Vince Gill fan for decades. Saw him live for the first time this past December. He's everything and more as an electric guitarist: just spectacular. But hearing him sing live was transporting. The voice is (still) expressive and haunting--and often just remarkably beautiful. He transforms really simple songs like "Whenever You Come Around" into masterpieces. If you can, see him.

Vince Gill exudes pure class. Everything about him - his voice, his guitar playing, his whole persona. Saw him with in a duet with Lyle Lovett last year, and it was outstanding.

Being my first concert in 1971, I couldn't click fast enough. SO good.

Yes, I feel the same way. Sounds like a lot of other people do, too!

I attended a concert with Vince and Amy Grant. Thought it was funny, she said first time they sang together she had asked him to sing a high harmony .... cause it was too high for her.

Very nice! No one I would rather listen to sing than Vince, and James might be second.

One my one and only trip to the Opry Vince was one of the hosts, and Pure Prairie League was a guest. PPL was my first ever concert (before Vince was in the band) so seeing them sing together with my wife and grown kids was very special. A couple of years later Vince played a small theater near here. My daughters surprised me with tickets for Father's Day, and they both flew in to see the show with us. He is simply an amazing entertainer.

Living my whole life in New England I have been fortunate to see James on many occasions over the past 40 years. The concerts he did with Carole King were my favorites.

Great post, brought back a lot of happy memories

Vince and James were great. I don't go to many concerts any more because it seems like I always end up sitting behind someone who thinks that they should be making videos on their cell phone. We went to see Willie Nelson and family's year end concert in Austin. We were in the second row right behind a woman who thought that she needed to record the entire event via photos and videos. The two guys sitting next to my wife were texting or posting to facebook constantly for the entire concert. Don't these people have any concept that it may be annoying everyone behind them? I guess I am an old grump. Sorry for the rant.

Went to a Bob Dylan concert a year or two ago. He pretty much forbids cell phones. A woman beside me took one picture and a security person came up to her and said that if he saw that phone again, she was gone.
