Default Best free site for converting youtube videos to MP3 ?

What free site is currently the best one available for quickly converting youtubes to MP3 files?

The one I was using (that was working great) suddenly disappeared.

Thanks ...

You're trying to capture the music/sound from youtube videos to MP3? Most audio software will do this "record what's coming through the soundcard".
I'm assuming you just want to give a link and have an MP3 delivered to you? BTW, this is considered 'pirating', which is probably why the website you used is gone.

Default Save Web Videos

I use Internet Download Manager. It's not free, but it's only $12. You can save videos from almost any website, and it gives you a choice of resolutions and file formats. It also increases the speed when you download large files from the Internet. I have been using IDM for years and swear by it.

You could very well be right about the "pirating issue", but the youtubes I want to convert are my own music ... so arrrgh matey!

Honestly though, I'm as dumb as a box of hammers when it comes to technology.

I'm just looking for the easiest rout to converting my videos to MP3 so I can put the audio on my Soundcloud and Reverbnation sites.

The free site I was using was extra simple!

Thanks ... I'd certainly invest $12 bucks on something that worked and was easy.

Ok, so you are recording videos direct to a phone or camera for uploading to youtube? Don't record the music from youtube to get MP3s - it's already been through the youtube compression algorithm and further converting to MP3 is going to mangle the sound more.
If you have Windows Media Player you can do it easily: https://www.techwalla.com/articles/h...s-media-player

I'll second what MikeBmusic says. YouTube compresses video and audio. You'll have much better results if you take the audio off the original video file. Reaper can probably do that for you (free trial).

Of course, if the original videos are lost and your only source is the YouTube upload, ignore this post.
