Default Guitar Store Recommendation for Dallas

Again, I'm a newbie to guitars so my only guitar trying/shopping experiences have been online or at the local Guitar Center. I live in the Dallas area and I know there are a number of "guitar shops" showing up when I search, but I was wondering if it would be cool to get some recommendations here? Someplace that would be helpful to a noob without trying to sell me something (at least not right away). Any suggestions?

I recommend Sky Guitars in Denton. Erik and staff are excellent and knowledgeable to deal with and their prices are hard to beat. Nice selection of Martins too

Guitar Sanctuary
Tone Shop

Guitar Sanctuary is more "high-end".

Despite the dopey name, Texas Guitar Ranch, 3206 Harwood in Bedford is great, especially for noobs. No pressure - and I mean zero - good stock of low to-mid range acoustic brands, plus a few higher-dollar Taylors, you can play anything in the place, staff knows their stuff. Kinda like it used to be back in my day (grump grump). Oh, and they’re open Sunday.

sanctuary is awesome. most good places have been listed. but even though i hate them there are at least 4 guitar centers in that area. i pulled a 12 fret d-28vs custom shop out of one used for $2k on used stuff there are deals to be had there. and in dallas probably better used stuff than anywhere.

If you can manage a road trip to Weatherford, Craig’s is very good.

I highly recommend Tone Shop in Addison. Great sales staff. Very laid back. I go in there a couple of times a week just to hang out. They have great collection of Martins, Guilds, and especially Taylors.

ETA: forgot they recently added Waterloo.
