Pure Mini w/ Taylor ES2 Preamp

Has anyone tried to use the newest Taylor ES2 preamp with the Pure Mini transducers? Theoretically, the ES2 is designed in a 3-transducer configuration similar to the Pure Mini in location, so wondering if it would work okay?

In the related thread above, I tried to combine the Pure Mini with the Taylor undersaddle preamp, however, I could not get a workable sound without additional devices in the signal chain. Does anyone have the means (and curiosity) to do this test with the ES2?
