Want To Buy: Looking for a Dreadnought

Hi guys, I am new to the forum but have been snoopin' around here for a long time now but finally created a username.

I was mainly looking for an Eastman E6D or E8D but I am open to other options. The guitar must have Spruce top w/ mahogany or RW back and sides and it must have 1 3/4 nut width.

I am not looking to spend anymore than $700. Please pm me or email me w/ pics of what you have so we can work something out.

I'd say in your price range you probably can't do much better then those two guitars. Eastman are highly regarded on the forum. Will you be playing them first if you decide between the two?

I second this recommendation for sure!! The Taylor DN3 is an amazing dreadnought. This guitar will be everything you'd want - and more! There is actually another one for sale on the forum right now too - just look in the classifieds. Just a superb dread!

Replied to everyone that PM'd me. At this point, I'm really leaning towards an E6D or E8D, as I have an E10OM already and just can't get enough if it's tone and finish.

Those are great choices. I suggest you contact Ted at L.A. Guitar Sales (a Forum sponsor). Let him know you were referred from the AGF, and ask him what his best price is on those models. You'll be hard pressed to get a better deal on an Eastman than what Ted will give you.
