Default Flammang RS35 SS- SOLD

Like several others here on the forum, I have decided it is time to "thin the herd" and keep only the guitars that are getting a lot of play. This Flamming is a recent acquisition that more than lived up to its description. It is David Flammang's interpretation of the Roy Smeck model. It is a remarkably light build and I suppose that's why it is so responsive. Definitely that vintage Gibson tone that Mr. Flammang is famous for. Did I mention this one has a short scale, which makes it extremely easy to play? Great for blues, fingerstyle and handled a pick well.

Adirondack top
Mahogany B & S
1 13/16 nut
24.75" scale
2 3/8" spacing at saddle
Rosewood finger board and bridge
Bone nut (new)
Bone saddle (long)and bone pins
Waverly tuners
Sloped dread Collings case which fits this guitar like a glove

Looking for $SOLD Shipped with buyer covering payment fees (if any). I am not desperate to sell, but am open to REASONABLE offers.

I am a former owner of this guitar.

This is a tremendous value at this price.

This guitar is a cannon, everything you could hope for out of a 12 fret dread.

Typical Flammang build quality.

You cannot go wrong with this one.

Folks, now THIS is a super buy. I have a Flammang RS. I A-B'd it with the real thing, my '37 Roy Smeck SD. There was a stunning similarity in the sound and a tremendous difference in playability. I kept the Flammang and sold the RSSD. Never looked back.

I paid well over $3k for my Flammang... this is a great deal. NO affiliation, just trying to keep the economy moving : )

GLWS,
willy

Rob and Willy,

Thank you for your endorsements. Someone is going to get a really good guitar at a very fair price.

This is a dream guitar for me! If only I had more disposable income. Why, oh why, did I go into public education and not something more lucrative like....like...well, anything else?!

Hi there,

I'm very interested! By any chance, would you happen to have any sound or video clips of this guitar being played?

Regards,

Dave in SLC

I am going to join the chorus here. While I don't know this particular guitar I have owned quite a few luthier / small shop guitars from the likes of Froggy Bottom, Goodall, Santa Cruz, Bourgeois, Brown, Merrill and Mcalister and my Flammang 00 in Braz/addi is right up there with the very best of them.

I can't understand why these guitar don't bring a higher price on this board having seen a few go recently for far less than made any sense to me.

The Flamming is beginning to garner some suitors, if you are on the fence...

As the owner of two Flammang guitars, this is a fantastic deal. Just sayin'. No affiliation by the way.

If I needed another guitar, I'd be all in at that price.

I feel the same way. I keep sending friends the link to this Ad hoping that one will buy it--to save me from myself.

I am in total agreement. Have been close to a deal a couple of times, but this vintage-sounding jewel is still available. Somebody take her home--you won't be sorry.
