Default Isaac Jang Guitar, latest and greatest...

Howdy Folks, Isaac Jang is a good buddy of mine and a phenomenal builder... I first met him about 7-8 years ago when he was working at Westwood Music as a technician and Kathy Wingerts apprentice... Its been SO cool and exciting watching him grow over the years and branching out as a solo Luthier... I wanted to take a moment and show off his recent work, some may have played it at this years SBAIC Show. I've been impressed by all his guitars I've gotten to play, and this one is a REAL stunner! Check it out... more pics and builds on his FB page to those who are interested... heads up for Mr Jangs works, his guitars are the future

Wow! That is beautiful. I usually don't like the aesthetics of cutaways and my playing repertoire doesn't require one, but I really like the subtle beauty of that cutaway.

Hi Mau..! Jimmi Wingert did the FB inlay, and Isaac followed it up by the FB abalone trims and end graph. The bling really works on this one I must say!

I'm with you an that, I'm not a big cutaway guy myself, but when Isaac builds me a guitar one day, I'll FOR SURE do this cutaway... well, the "Bendaway" its called, based on the original design by luthier Mitsuhiro "Micky" Uchida...

Howdy, this exact guitar is sold, it was a special order... I don't have exact clips, but here is a similar guitar that sold at Dreamguitars recently...

Thanks for the pics, Dave. That's a stunning guitar. And I thought his first few were incredible... But they keep getting better.

Wow! Isaac Jang at Memphis in 2015 had two absolute knock-out guitars, including a Brazilian, and my own personal favorite from the entire show, an OM-sized instrument in Cocobolo. Truly an extraordinary talent. This looks and sounds every bit as good. And that back ...

The future indeed. The similar one sure sounds nice in Al Pettiway's demo!!!

May His herds increase

Cheers
