Default Need help-Not Guitar related- Web Page

I'd rather be pickin, but....

I need to change a Hyperlink on my Website.

I made a mockup site of my pages, make the change to the link in Front Page, upload, but the link remains the same.

The Web guy who did the site is toast. Any suggestions ?

All the best, and if the moderators need to remove the message, I understand.

Larry

Use a relative link instead of absolute.

Larry-

It's going to be one of the two
' href="welcome.html" ' lines. I'd guess the second one. Just edit the html in notepad and change it to ' href="recent_event.html" '

Good Luck

jas.

yep...

on your webpage, when you put the mosue over the last two "signs" as you call them, you can see that they both point to the same location...try this:

<html>

<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-1">
<meta name="generator" content="Adobe GoLive 4">
<title>Precious Moments In Time</title>
</head>

<body link="#552211" vlink="#552211" alink="#552211">
<center>
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="780" height="573">
<tr height="143">
<td width="780" align="center" valign="top" height="143"><img height="143" width="780" src="lb_title.gif"></td>
</tr>
<tr height="339">
<td bgcolor="white" align="center" valign="middle" width="780" height="339"><img height="339" width="779" src="front.jpg" border="0" usemap="#front90c090"><map name="front90c090"><area href="welcome.html" coords="271,89,271,89,549,89,548,255,271,272" shape="polygon" alt="Studio Entrance"><area href="recent_event.html" coords="589,90,589,90,744,91,742,235,587,245" shape="polygon" alt="Studio Entrance"><area href="http://albums.proshots.com/PreciousMoments/" coords="42,87,211,87,212,271,45,282" shape="polygon" alt="Client Viewing" title></map></td>
</tr>
<tr height="91">
<td align="center" valign="bottom" width="780" height="91"><img height="91" width="780" src="lb_lower.gif" usemap="#lb_lower654fed" border="0"><map name="lb_lower654fed"><area href="mailto: [email protected]" coords="290,25,480,38" shape="rect" alt="Send Your Comments!"></map></td>
</tr>
</table>
