Sorry -- wood or carbon the same. Hot breath and microfiber cloth.

Windex and a paper towel.

RainSong does recommend a couple of car detailing products, but I think that's mostly if you get a scuff in the finish. I never have.

Default I made light of this post in the past

But now I’ve noticed it more.

Does the official emerald site have any suggestions.

I have no idea. Did you look?

I've had my X20 for a whole 3 days, and have found that just about any soft, lint-free cloth is able to remove fingerprints and other bodily blemishes most efficiently.

I like Ted's solution. Not as good as tooth paste and spit shine, but probably good for large collections or big guitars.

I just used Meguiars Quick Detailer on my Smokey as recommended by Rainsong. It did not make much of a difference compared to the dry microfiber cloth I was using before, but now my guitar smells like candy.

My Rainsong Smokey is still perfectly matte after cleaning it with Meguiars Quick Detailer.

Just a wipe down with a microfiber cloth. I think the most efficient way to clean a carbon fiber guitar would be to take it with you while you sing in the shower. You get to accompany yourself and clean the guitar at the same time that you clean up.

If anyone requests photographic evidence of this cleaning method, I respectfully ask that you are most careful with guitar positioning.

Yessir, most definitely - held behind my head like Hendrix used to do.
