Default Just ordered my dream telecaster!

I just ordered a Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster in Daphne blue with a maple neck. It should be here later this week. I'm stoked! The pic below isn't exactly like the one I ordered, but it's close. The one I ordered will have Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups and a five way selector switch like a strat.

Oh man I love that setup. A three pickup Tele with a neck humbucker to my mind gets the almost all the best sounds of electric guitars in one axe.

And the neck mini-humbucker is a good choice for the neck humbucker spot too. How will the switching be setup?

I have an Squier Tele with a mini hum neck that's bridge, bridge+mid, bridge+neck, middle only, neck only and an MIJ thinline tele with a full size humbucker that's bridge, bridge+mid, bridge+neck, split coil neck, full neck.

The Squire with the Firebird style mini humbucker sits right next to my computer for any last minute overdub needs or demos. I used to have a Line 6 Variax there until it was stolen, but it's funny, the three pickup Tele gives me almost all the sounds the Variax gave me (minus only the acoustic simulations and the 12-string electric really).

Dahpne Blue with maple neck! Who carried that!? Nice! Heck, Fender doesn't offer rosewood board anymore on their website. You'll like the 3 Vintage Noiseless pickups. I just got a similar Tele w/rosewood. Here's a link.

Enjoy!!

Thanks guys! To elaborate, I mentioned the picture was a little different from the one I ordered. The one I ordered is just like the one Dave linked to but with a maple neck. The picture I posted was the closest I've found on the net. It does not have the mini humbucker in the neck position. It is all single coil with vintage noiseless pickups.

I ordered it from a well respected dealer off of Reverb and got it for a great price. I have no idea how he obtained it, or why Fender does not list this configuration of Daphne blue and maple. He said it is basically new and was used as a demo only. He is a dealer for Fender.

I'm looking farward to getting it in my hands, that's for sure!

However...those Nashville's have the "Swimming pool" rout...so if you ever wanted to go the minibucker route...

Congrats...There's nothing like a good tele.

You realize you are going to have to wear a white linen panama suit, powder blue neck tie, and white phorda hat while playing, in order to get the coolest tones
