Doolin' Dalton question
I really enjoy playing Doolin' Dalton, but am having problems with the chords for the ending. After they play the last line of the last verse "So he left that peaceful life behind", I found some tab that goes G Em C C/B Am7 D9 Em.
I don't know if it's me or the chords, but it's just a bit off for me. At first I ignored the C/B, but just looked at it, and it's coming in some, but too new to verify. I shape the D9 as follows: (string first then fret) 6-0 5-x 4-0 3-2 2-1 1-0 The ending is a nice little walk down after the G and Em from C-B-A-F#-E in the bass if this is all correct. Here's the youtube of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mt69PxbhC-k I capo at the 2nd fret and play it in G. Verses: G Em G Em G G7 A C G, and bridge "Well, the towns lay out......" is G Em G C Am Em G G7 C Am D. I really like strumming this hard, and glad that I rediscovered some of these Eagle songs that I've forgotten. Will someone with more discerning ears give me a hand on this? Much appreciated, Bob Someone told me once how to imbed youtubes, but I can't find the post and can't remember the method. Can someone clue me in on that? Thanks Last edited by naccoachbob; 09-22-2014 at 06:31 PM. |

I've got the songbook with sheet music sitting at home. If the answer still hasn't come up by tomorrow, I'll look it up and point you in the right direction.

For embedding YouTube videos, you put everything in the share link that is past the = in between the YourTube tags (click on the red button with the white play symbol).
In your case: [YOUTUBE}Mt69PxbhC-k/{YOUTUBE]- Here I changed the brackets so it would print but not function. Here it is for real. |
