Default DADGAD tunes for a wedding?

I'm playing for my nieces wedding ceremony in a few weeks and I thought I'd query the forum to see if there are ideas that I should consider.
It's a garden setting and I'll be the "background" I think. I'm guessing I'll play for 15 or 20 minutes while the folks are getting seated.

I'm only playing dadgad instrumentals. Here's a few I'm considering.
Some of these are other peoples arrangements and songs and some are my arrangements. I also have a few tunes that are melodies that have developed from "noodling" that I may use. (not listed)

Fanny Power
Simple Gifts
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus
We Gather Together

Si Bheag Si Mhor is a nice piece. If you are looking for an upbeat instrumental, Shepherd's Delight is a great one that I often play together with Charlie Hunter's Jig. All DADGAD.
What a joy to play for your niece's wedding - Have fun.

I'm doing the same for a friend's wedding next Saturday! Sunrise ceremony on the ocean.....hoping the guitar adjusts well to the elements! Also did the same for a nephew 2 years ago with his wedding......all in DADGAD as you are doing. Also an outdoor garden setting.

I have a lot of my own tunes in DADGAD, but also include Al Petteway's A Waltz for Rebecca, and I'm just finishing Doug Young's arrangement of Shenandoah which would work nicely.

One thing I found with this type of setting with background music ( you may already do this) is to create a little tiny interlude between songs. Something that just makes a bridge to the next piece. I hadn't thought of this originally, but kind of moved into it naturally with playing the wedding of two years ago. I think it helps to keep continuity and sound for folks.

Hope it goes well!
Fred

Pierre Bensusan - 'Merrily Kissed The Quaker' might be a nice one.
