Steve really said it perfectly, we just connected with shared experiences and philosophies. I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have gained a brother-like friend.

And I appreciate all of your words and thoughts. If you want to learn more about Jordan, I'd like to share some TV work she did.

Again, I deeply appreciate the relationships I've established here, and thank you for taking the time to look and listen. As I said, we focus on celebrating the gift of the years we had with her, and look forward to see how she continues to inspire people. And I look forward to sharing happy guitar stories with you all for a long time.

Mike, having lost a loved one in a car accident about 22 years ago, I can feel your pain and I'm sorry for your loss.

As for the guitar, it is beautiful indeed. I've always thought of Steve as a genuinely nice guy and this is an incredibly generous gesture on his part.

The AGF needs a "like" button. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

This situation has taught me a few things. First, there are very good people out there who do things because they are good people. I'm very lucky to have some of those around me. Second, life can change in a heartbeat, so I hug more, say "I love you" to my family every chance I get, and do things because... Jordan.

By the way, her brother is an amazing young man, and I am sure he is Broadway bound. Proud uncle moment.

Once again, thank you all.

Mike, thank you for sharing this with us all. Jordan was certainly an amazing your lady, and what you've chosen to do in her honor is very cool.

Steve's willingness and gratitude for being a part speaks volumes about him. The AGF can truly be a wonderful place, a community.

Looking forward to seeing how this all turns out.

A special story, a special guitar, a special Uncle... all for what sounds like a VERY special young woman!

Thanks for sharing all the in's and out's of the story... and kudos to Steve for the role he is playing in Jordan's memory...

More heartfelt thanks to you all!

To bring this around nicely to the guitar, because this is a guitar forum after all, a few folks are going to have the chance to play it today. Looking forward to hearing the guitar from out front and getting their playing impressions. Steve was very happy at how it sounded right after completion, and it'll only get better. I think it sounds lovely, and the size make it easy to hold and play. He did a wonderful thing, and that's who he is.

This is such a touching story and I know that this shouldn't have come as a surprise given Steve's nature but I am still continuously dumbfounded by Steve's generosity in both his words and his work. I wish all parties involved all the best, and for the future owner to understand what a meaningful instrument he/she owns as well as the cause he/she has contributed towards. My deepest condolences to you Mike, as well as her family and friends.

A lovely tribute to a lovely young woman taken from us way too soon.

But look, your neice is still having an effect on people - look at the heartfelt outpouring from the good people of this forum.

I can't wait to hear some sound files of this wonderful instrument. It's a beautiful guitar and a unique build.
