Hey Tim,
Glad to see the show is coming together. It might be helpful if you could post a link to the website or other sources of information. Folks would probably be interested in the luthiers attending and the musicians demoing their instruments.

Hi Tim,
I sent out e-mails to 40-50 AGF members who are located in the Twin Cities area. These folks are either members of the Twin Cities AGF Association or they were on the mailing list from one of our previous Twin Cities AGF Get-Togethers. Hopefully the show will get a good attendance. There is also a thread about the show in the Custom Shop sub-forum.

Tim, why don't you join the TCAGF group on FaceBook. You can post some promotional stuff there every week up until the day.

This weekend August 6-7, the first of it's kind in the Minnesota, is the Twin Cities Acoustic Guitar Show in downtown St. Paul. There will be 22 luthiers and 22 performers (if you count the performers at the Lowertown Guitar Festival happening only two blocks from the exhibit). www.twincitiesguitarshow.com

I really liked that Beardsell Fan Fret (last Pic).
Oh, and the Applegate Brazilian was to die for. And Gerry Humphrey's amps and speaker cabinets were out of this world. |

Thanks for posting the pics.
It was great meeting the builders and I reconnected with about 8 other AGF members. Marty and Jeff are taking the initiative to get an AGF get-together setup for this fall. For me the guitar winners, in no particular order were the Hoffman Cocobolo 00, the Applegate Cocobolo, the Reede fan fret (and I'd like to play the Reede 0 sized ABW after it gets a little time to realize it's now a guitar instead of a piece of wood). Also enjoyed finally meeting Lloyd LaPlant. Thanks to Tim Reede for orchestrating this show.

I want to thank everyone that contributed to or attended the Twin Cities Acoustic Guitar Show. What a great group of people. The guitars were brilliant and diverse and from what I heard, the performances in the auditorium were outstanding. We did record everything so I am looking forward to watching all of that and I will be sharing videos when we get them done.

Thank you Tim for inviting me, I had a great time and met a lot of good folks. It was a little out of my neighborhood, but a good trip. It was rather humbling to have my table between Applegate and Petros, Exceptionally nice instruments. The show was very well done.
