Some files on Youtube are quite large. You really need High Speed internet to use it properly. Are you using Dial up (phone line)? If so, that is likely the problem. Ideally you want DSL, cable or something to that effect..... Ryan |

No, very fast digital cable and a fast laptop. Most vids are 1:30 to 3:30 inb length. Taken from my Cannon SD750 digital camera. Perhaps I need to figure out how to compress them. I didn't think people had dial up anymore.

I've got cable, usually record 40MB on a YouTube video, and it takes ~1-2 minutes to upload. |

yes, I meant upload. Took 1 hour for a short acoustic vid. Need to check my camera settings to make the file smaller I guess.

I gotcha! Upload. It depends on file size..... If it's around 100 Mb or more it definitely can take quite awhile. I try to keep my file sizes at 50 Mb. or less. Generally less than a half hour to upload...... Ryan |

Most ISPs have uploading set at about a 1/4 of the speed of downloading.
