Susanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter Showcase
Last December, right after Buzzard Whiskey’s IAMA gig, I made a couple recordings of me singing and playing guitar. I sent them in to a competition called the Susanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter Showcase. Each year they pick ten solo finalists who then compete during an afternoon session at the Utah Arts Festival, June 25 at noon. The winner of that gets a Rainsong guitar and opens for the headliner the next evening. I am one of the ten finalists!

The competition is based on a two song set. I been practicing several of my tunes and I think I've decided which two are worthy... I hope.
