Canadians: Where can I buy Blueridge guitars??
Do any of the Canadian members of this board know where I can buy Blueridge guitars online within Canada? I've searched endlessly but nobody seems to sell them.
I desperately want a BR-163 |

In Edmonton Acoustic Music Shop and Mrhye's Music both carry a fair number of them. Neither shop has the greatest web site, but they are both great to deal with, definately worth a phone call or visit if you're in the area.

I called them and they said they don't carry them anymore, not in their Toronto location anyways. Plus Steve's has one of the worst staff I've ever encountered, so that's a no go.
But thanks for all the other replies guys I'll see if that shop in Alberta can get me a good price |

Also give the "Acoustic Guitar" Store in Calgary a call. They usually have a few in stock (plus a some sweet higher end ones).

Would help to know where you at brother. There's a guy near Ottawa I buy all my guitars from, and he often gets great used Blueridge through. Look up Bluegrass Connection, in Iroquois, Ontario. Great guy - great guitars.

I'm in Toronto, and all the stores here that are "dealers" do not have any in stock. With our dollar so close to the US one right now... I'm wishing Maurys Music would ship to Canada right about now lol

John Bellones Music in London had about a dozen Blueridge guitars in stock when I was in there last which was last spring. The acoustic guy, I believe his name is Dave, is very knowledgeable and respectful of the customers, in my opinion.
The music store has been a London icon for many, many, many years. Although I haven't purchased a guitar from them (yet) I wouldn't hesitate to do so. |

I agree. I'm sure the slogan of the Steve's in Montreal is "Just say no to customer service." And the security guard at the front door that checks your bag as you leave is a final nice touch.

Ricardo - I know you want a BR-163, but I would check out what Mike has at Bluegrass Connection. Toronto is only about 5 hours shipping distance down the 401. You can avoid all those border issues! I took a look and can't mention prices, but there is a BR-160 there for sure, plus 3 or 4 others I think. I know Mike pretty well if that helps in any way.
