Default FS: Collings OM1A "Vintage Now"(Sold pending payment)

Hi Everyone,

Up for sale is my OM1A with “Vintage Now” specs. I bought this guitar earlier this year. The guitar is dead mint and I’m looking for a good home for it. I played it in the shop it was bought from and went with my gut and bought it on the spot. It did not fail to meet my expectations, but I’ve come to realize that I’m much more of a rosewood guy when it comes to smaller bodied Collings guitars. An OM2H is headed my way. My loss is your gain, so please help me find a good home for it! It is a spectacular guitar, and one I could keep if I were in the position to keep it and its rosewood partner.

I really love the vintage now specs….it’s 1 ¾ at the nut and 2 5/16 spacing at the saddle. The neck carve is great…it’s a nice full C at the lower frets and slowly goes to a faint V shape the farther up the neck you go. It’s one of my favorite carves out there. There is a tongue brace and standard sitka bracing.

Sale price is $3000 with split shipping. I will not cover paypal fees. I’d be interested in any reasonable trade offers and would be open to a lot of things. I’d especially be interested in a Goodall of any form and would pay a small difference in price. Please PM me or post with any questions!

Mark

Hey everyone....this guitar is still available. I know this is a long shot but I'd love to find a trade partner with a Santa Cruz light build d12 in mahogany. That would be a dream come true for me.

Bump bump and happy holidays!

I am looking to trade my DS1A for a guitar like this. My guitar is in perfect shape, no dings and is a cannon. If not, then a free bump for a nice guitar. I have an OM 2HA with the same specs but rosewood and I love it.

Hey Tom,

I'm out of town until the weekend but can send pics if ya want later. They're dots on the fretboard. Guitar is clean clean. A great ax that persuaded me to custom order a big dreadnaught brother due in the next few weeks
