Pretty cool little "short" here on one man's search for the "perfect" Harmony. Enjoy!

True, but when you got a good Harmony Sovereign Jumbo - the H1260- they could be VERY good:
and Long ago and far away, I was the second guitarist in "A Boy And His Dog" an acoustic trio playing around west London. John Evans played an H1260, and I played an Ha1265 like this : This video demonstrates how "muted" the sound was - probably by those great big lumps of 3 or 4 ply plastic stuck on the top. It was my third guitar, and my first US made one. I should have gone for a Levin Goliath! Levins were made in Sweden until Martin bought them out, messed the company and staff about then closed them down. They sold for the same price range as Harmony's but were as good (or better) than Martins.
